No time for crafting but a great day all round!

Hi, I'm not doing very well at this idea of mine that I will blog every day am I?  I had every intention today of trying to do something crafty but I've had a very busy day doing other stuff.  The day started off with an exciting delivery from Ali Reeve - her new little MDF tags and stamps, plus another couple of pots of her acrylic glue - I get through this like wildfire!

I was itching to get going when they arrived but on a Saturday morning, whilst my daughters are at their dancing lessons, my hubby Dave and I go and visit my father in law.  Had a lovely visit and a cup of coffee with him and then back home for an hour.  My favourite footy team Leicester City were playing a big match at Manchester City today so I listened to the first half of the match on the radio before getting ready to go to one of my best friend's daughter's baby shower this afternoon.  Off I went with my eldest daughter Emma, happy in the knowledge that Leicester were winning 1 - 0.  Arrived at the house to find they had BT sports on in their den an I could pop in and out and watch the second half.  Great result, we won 3 - 1!  Whoop! Whoop!  Well clear at the top of the Premier League.  Had a great afternoon playing silly games and laughing with lovely people before coming home, putting my feet up with a glass of wine and ordering a Chinese takeaway.  A nice cosy night in with the family listening to the rain and wind outside is definitely in order.  I hope to do a bit of crafting tomorrow after taking Becky for her dancing exam, fingers crossed there will be a couple of hours late afternoon whilst Dave cooks our dinner. Right back to my wine and Chinese.

Hello!!

Hello and welcome to my new blog.  This is my first post so please bear with me - I've never done anything like this before and am learning as I go (I have a very patient daughter, Becky, sat here helping me to navigate this blogging site).  I am hoping to share some of my crafty makes with you on this blog along with sharing my everyday life with you - believe me it is never dull!  I haven't got much to tell you about today so this will be a short post, I just wanted to practice posting under the watchful eye of Becky - I'm even going to have a go at posting a photo (should be interesting).  Anyway I won't keep rambling, don't want to bore you before I even get going.

Oh yes! How clever am I? Just in case you are wondering the goofy looking one on the left is me and the beautiful one on the right is Becky.  I'm sure I will be driving her mad before long asking questions about blogging but she is very patient so I'm sure she'll help me.  She is a blogger herself and has a blog - www.beckysepilepsyblog.blogspot.com please take time to read it, she is trying to raise awareness for Epilepsy. 

I am going to try and post everyday so I'll say bye for now and I'll speak to you tomorrow.
